For over 25 years as an attorney and an executive, I lived the classic desk-bound life - long hours, high stress, and the constant struggle to balance work, family, and my own health goals. I told myself I was “too busy” to prioritize fitness, sleep and nutrition, even though deep down, I knew better. Over time, the cracks in my health started to show: creeping weight gain, troubling blood markers and the realization that my go-go-go lifestyle was taking its toll.

Then came perimenopause, and things really went off the rails - brain fog, joint pain, restless nights. Yet, every time I sought medical advice, the answers were always the same: medication or surgery. No one asked about my lifestyle—how I was eating, sleeping, or moving. It was a wake-up call.

Determined to take control, I dove deep into learning about health, nutrition, and fitness. What I discovered was both empowering and frustrating: small, strategic changes can make a huge difference, but I also realized a frustrating truth—the medical system isn’t built to hep us get ahead of problems - it just reacts to them.

That realization sparked something in me. I started sharing what I’d learned, blending my knack for breaking down complex topics with a drive to help others take charge of their health. (Fun fact: As a hobby, I write voter guides to simplify California ballots—so I’ve always loved the challenge of making tough concepts easy and approachable!)

That’s why I founded Part Time Health: to cut through the noise and help busy people take control of their wellbeing in a way that actually fits their lives. Because getting healthier doesn’t have to be a part-time job—it just has to be smarter.

Let’s make this simple, sustainable, and yes, even fun.
